For most people, hostilities began on April 1st 1995, but the truth is that the divisions had begun many years before.
A so-called ‘peace’ was reached in 1997, but what was the cost? Hundreds of millions of dollars ripped up, friendships destroyed and a cynical fan base that will take a long time to win back. Will it ever happen again?
